Back fence
Both our back door neighbours and ourselves have been wanting a proper back fence since we moved in 5 years ago. Until now there has only been a row of trees with some wire. Mathew has done all the work and now we have a nice Stratco Good Neighbour fence. We removed the trees and debris and Mathew put the posts in, made cement plynths in between so no dogs can dig holes underneath, and put the new fence up. There is only one small bit to do and it will be all finished. Mathew has done a really professional job, as he usually does with anything he puts his hand to.
The next step is to plant the peach tree and some other plants in front of it.

Update
Sorry it has been so long since I have updated this blog. With everything else that has been going on, blogging has not been high up on the list of priorities. We have all had a bad run of colds in this household this Winter, so I will be glad when the weather warms up. Brendon is particularly sick at the moment. I have also started a new part time job and Brendon has started day care as a result.
Here are some recent photos.
My computer is also painfully slow, which is another reason why I haven't been blogging much lately. These three photos show the Mini waistcoat that I made for Brendon, opening my presents for my 40th birthday and Brendon doing his swimming lessons.

Long time, no blog
Hi all. Sorry it has been such a long time since I have updated my blog. I have been rather busy lately and sometimes our computer goes so slowly it puts me off using the internet. Yesterday I started a new part time job and Brendon started Day Care. I enjoyed going to work and Brendon enjoyed going to Day Care.
When I have some time and the computer isn't going to slowly, I will upload some recent photos of Brendon.

Nurse Brendon
This just happened a few minutes ago and had me laughing my head off. I have a cold and have lost my voice, which makes looking after Brendon a bit difficult given that he is such a talkative little boy who wants to have conversations with you all day. I am also feeling like I just want to sit and not do very much as I'm not feeling well. Brendon was wanting me to play with him and kept asking me questions. I tried to explain to him that I am not very well so feel like just sitting rather than playing and can't talk very much due to a sore throat. He promptly announced he was going into his bedroom to get some cream to rub on my throat to make it feel better. He took his little stool into his room and came out carrying a jar of Sudocream (which is used for nappy rash, etc) and gave it to me! Bless his cotton socks! I laughed so hard which was funny considering no sound came out due to having lost my voice! The jar of cream is kept on top of his tall boy in his toiletries bag, which he can now reach with the help of a stool as he is so tall. He is such a caring and thoughtful boy!

Easter
For the Easter weekend we went camping with the SA Moke Club. The Moke Owners Assoc of Vic also joined us. Here are some photos from that weekend. Brendon is flying paper aeroplanes in one of them. Terry from Victoria is being towed behind a moke on a go cart in another.
Brendon's new pjamas
Here are the latest pj's that I have made for Brendon. I am getting good value out of this pattern, as I think this is the third pair I have made.

Well, things have been quite busy lately. We had a visit from my brother, then shortly after that we had a visit from my Mum and Dad. In between I have been looking for work and investigating becoming a Tupperware Demonstrator. I will be joining up if anyone is interested in ordering or booking a party.
Here are some recent photos. There is a lovely one of Brendon giving Granddad a kiss as well as sitting on Nanna's lap while listening to her tell him a story. The sewing machine birthday cake was for Mum's/Nanna's birthday which we celebrated while she was here.

Mummy, I've done a poo
Yay! I never thought I would be so happy as to hear those words. Check out my latest post about toilet training on paulinestips.blogspot.com. We have been putting Brendon in jocks and he is now noticing when he is wet or soiled, something he wasn't noticing with nappies on.
And for those that have asked for me to put my posts in a bigger font, I have checked it out and there doesn't seem to be an option on here to do it. Sorry. Maybe try going in to Properties from your Windows screen and adjusting the icon sizes which should also make the font bigger on your computer.

Holiday snaps and All British Day
With Mathew on annual leave we headed to Robe for four nights. We took our camper trailer and stayed at the Lakeside Caravan Park, which we have stayed at twice before. It is a great caravan park. The campers kitchen there is so well set up that we never even unpacked our kitchen in our camper trailer.
Here are some photos from the trip. Brendon enjoyed his Babycino at Mahalia Coffee in Robe and also playing on the train on display in the playground at Tailem Bend on the way home. There is also a photo taken of Brendon and Mathew at the lookout in Robe.
The photo of Brendon and Mathew in our Moke was taken at All British Day. We entered our Moke. We took the Moke and the Xtrail up to Uraidla and had a lovely breakfast with our friends and other Mokers at Rob and Dee's house. Then we swapped the child seat over to the Moke, so Mathew and Brendon drove the 500 metres to the entry of the oval for All British Day, and I hopped in the spare seat in Julie's moke, leaving our Xtrail at Rob and Dee's. Brendon had a great day. They had a petting zoo there and he loved feeding and patting the farm animals with his favourite being the sheep.

Pool party
Here are some photos of Mathew and Brendon at a pool party. It's funny, within a short time of being in the pool, we both noticed Brendon's confidence improved to the point where he was happy to swim by himself with the support of a pool noodle only. He does swimming lessons each week, but this made us realise that just playing in a pool like this would also be good for his confidence and swimming ability. So I think over the summer I will also take him for a swim in a pool other than just going to swimming lessons.

Our 7th wedding anniversary
It was our wedding anniversary on Sunday, so on Saturday night we caught the bus to Norwood and had gourmet pizza at Cafe Palazzo. It was really yummy and a nice night out, and I got to wear my green dress that I wore to Neil and Char's wedding again. Here is a photo of Mathew and Brendon in the bus on the way out to dinner.
On Sunday morning we went for a lovely bike ride along linear park into Adelaide, then up to North Adelaide. We stopped at the park just opposite the Women's and Children's hospital for morning tea, before heading back home again. I took some photos of Mathew and Brendon there, but didn't manage to get a photo of the three of us. On the way home, we were still a few kilometres away from home when the heavens opened and it bucketed down. Usually I don't enjoy being rained on while riding, but thoroughly enjoyed getting saturated this time. The fact that it wasn't cold may have had something to do with it. Even Brendon liked getting wet!
Brendon has been doing a lot of painting lately. We are getting quite a collection of his artwork!
